The National Transition Event brings together organisations that value the skills and experience developed through military service. It’s a space for honest conversations about what comes next – careers, training, and opportunities beyond service.

Why We’re There
We know that military experience builds qualities that are hugely valuable in cyber security – leadership, composure under pressure, problem-solving, and a strong sense of responsibility.
At the event, we’re looking forward to:

- Sharing how military skills translate into civilian roles
- Offering practical advice on certifications and career pathways

Many of the qualities developed in the Armed Forces – accountability, clear decision-making, staying calm under pressure – are directly relevant to cyber security.
We’re attending to meet people and talk about what working in this field involves, and what the move from service into cyber can look like in practice.
