Employment in cyber security in Devon and the South West

There are growing numbers of employment opportunities within cyber security in Devon and the South West. As the profile of the sector grows, this is expected to be a continuing trend.

However, it is regrettable that many students graduating with relevant degrees and an interest in cyber security feel they have to leave the South West to embark on a cyber security career. Securious is doing all it can to help change this and has recruited a number of graduates from universities in the region in recent years, as well as providing paid placements for those doing their courses.

Our vision is for cyber security and compliance to be taken seriously enough by all businesses that a vibrant sector means cyber security professionals don’t feel they need to leave the region to have a flourishing career.
