Our cyber security credentials include:

PCI QSA (Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor) company

Securious has been a PCI QSA company (QSAC) since 2016. This means we are an independent security organisation that has been qualified by the PCI Security Standards Council to assess an organisation’s adherence to PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

As a QSA company, we adhere to professional and business ethics and maintain independence and objectivity to perform assessments. We also ensure we meet the PCI Council’s insurance requirements, and provide proof of coverage annually.

We have been at the forefront of the move to the new standard, PCI DSS V4.0.

CREST-accredited penetration testing provider

Securious is a CREST-accredited penetration provider.

CREST is one of the cyber security industry’s leading accreditation bodies, providing independent assurance that accredited organisations meet recognised standards for professional security testing.

ISO 27001

Securious are accredited by BSI for ISO 27001, the International standard for information security. As BSI accredited ISO 27001 Implementers and Auditors, this is core to how we manage and protect our information. BSI is a UKAS accreditation body, and we believe that assessments by the standard setter is the best accreditation to hold. We continually review and refine this to ensure that we are not only securing our information for the moment, but also for the future, and ensure that we have a robust, risk-based approach to managing this.

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is the International Standard for Quality Management, and we are also accredited for this by BSI. This ensure we continually improve and streamline our business, have strong corporate governance and work effectively with our Customers, stakeholders and partners. This ensures we are continually reviewing our products and services to ensure they meet our customer requirements and achieve our goal of building cyber security confidence.

Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus Certification Body

Securious has been a Cyber Essentials Certification body since 2015, which was soon after the introduction of the Government-backed scheme. We have organisations who are now on their 6th year of achieving the certification with us. We are licensed by the IASME consortium in association with The National Cyber Security Centre, to deliver Cyber Essentials Basic and PLUS, and have therefore gone through the relevant training, assessment and examinations.

Securious is a Trusted Partner of The South West Cyber Resilience Centre. This is a police-led not for profit organisation organisation, funded by the Home Office to help businesses and charities in the South West protect themselves from cyber crime.
