Finance professionals – PCI compliance is changing (a lot). Get up to speed in 30 minutes with our free webinar

PCI compliance often lands on the desk of the finance team, which many can find daunting. Even though it is clear that compliance is important for those in charge of the purse strings, achieving and maintaining compliance is a technical, complicated and, frankly, difficult task.

And while it may feel that PCI compliance should, perhaps, fall on the IT team’s shoulders, in reality, it’s actually far more effective when finance is involved in driving it forward.

As most finance professionals will know, there’s a lot of financial risk surrounding cardholder data security. If your organisation isn’t currently compliant, it’s going to be losing money on a monthly basis because of bank charges.

And the impact of a breach could be catastrophic, resulting in hefty fines and increased workload for the team, along with a huge reputational hit.

So it’s certainly in the finance team’s best interests to be involved in making sure PCI compliance happens… But it’s not easy.

And it’s made even harder by the fact PCI DSS is changing – and it’s changing a lot.

The introduction of PCI V4.0 brings with it the biggest evolution of the standard since PCI V3.2.1 came out in 2018, and it could cause chaos for organisations that don’t get up to speed soon.

However, most of the guidance is very technical and the hundred-plus page documents released by the PCI Council about V4.0 are hardly light (or quick) reading.

That’s why Securious, the South West’s leading cyber security company and the region’s only PCI DSS Qualified Security Assessor Company is offering help…

Our team of experienced PCI QSAs will be delivering a FREE 30-minute webinar to cut through the technical jargon and help finance professionals understand what the changes to PCI mean for their organisations – and what they need to do as a result.

There will be an additional 15 minutes at the end of the session to answer any questions and an open line of communication with our PCI QSA team after the webinar, should you have any questions following the session.
