Cyber Security – New team member at Securious: Darren Grey

We are delighted to announce that Darren Grey has joined the Securious team taking on the role of Project Support Officer at the HQ in Exeter Science Park.

Darren brings with him experience of project coordination from previous roles that he will draw upon to become a great asset in the office and assisting the team.

Formerly trained in security from a military background, Darren is keen to return to the industry and is excited in what Securious is achieving.  He is especially drawn to the ethos in making the world of Cyber Security more approachable and understandable to businesses in the region believing that this only enhances the defence against security threat.

Darren grew up in Okehampton and can often be found with his young family walking on the moors.  He regularly attends Kendo sessions in Plymouth which he has studied for the past 3 years.

Commenting on the role, he said:

“As businesses become more aware the need for cyber security and the ongoing process of updating their knowledge in line with current threats, it is great to be involved in a local company within the South West that provides such a high level of expertise while offering a friendly and transparent service to reassure clients”

Roz Woodward, co-founder of Securious, added:

“To deliver a great cyber security compliance service we need meticulous planning, organisation and attention to detail. Darren has shown he has the skills and attitude to help us across the business and we are delighted to have him on board.”
