Securious is delighted to welcome Jack Barratt to the team

We’re delighted to welcome Jack Barratt, Cyber Security Consultant, to the Securious team.

Jack will be working with our team to deliver cyber security services to clients, with an initial focus on penetration testing that will then be expanded to cover Cyber Essentials.

Jack has always been very technically-minded and has had a huge interest in IT – in particular, cyber security.

He’s spent the last ten years working for universities – first as a technician, then as a technical manager. In March of this year, he decided he wanted to move into a cyber security role, so he achieved his CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, EjPT and PJPT certifications.

Jack wanted to join a local cyber security team because he wanted to get involved in a variety of disciplines instead of focusing on one really specialised area.

After working in IT for a decade, he decided to achieve his qualifications and make the move into the cyber security industry. Jack is looking forward to continuing his studies and gaining more qualifications while building experience in cyber security and working hands-on with clients to help them improve their cyber posture.

When Jack isn’t working (or studying!), he enjoys playing online games and can often be found out and about in nature, hiking with his girlfriend.
