Free webinar: Making PCI DSS compliance easy for your university
Achieving compliance with PCI DSS is not an easy challenge for many universities: they tend to have complex environments with diverse retail outlets and multiple payment methods, along with many different stakeholders in separate departments, each with their own priorities and pressures.
This can make the process of achieving compliance with PCI DSS challenging, and for this reason, many universities remain non-compliant, resulting in costly transaction charges and putting the data of their students, staff and other customers at risk.
Securious has now worked with a number of universities to help them achieve compliance – both with PCI DSS v3.2.1 and PCI DSS v4.0. We’ve had many learnings along the way and have developed processes and guidance to help make an overwhelming and complicated task into one that is entirely manageable for all stakeholders.
We’re now running a free webinar for universities, where we’ll share our learnings, guidance and tips for making PCI DSS compliance as simple and easy as possible (whether you’re already running with 3.2.1 or looking to achieve compliance with v3.2.1 or v4.0).
The webinar will take place on Thursday, February 29th at 12 pm. It will be 30 minutes long, with an additional 15 minutes at the end of the session for Q&A.
Pete Woodward, Securious Cofounder and CEO, will talk through his experiences of working with universities to help them achieve PCI compliance. He’ll explain
- How to define the scope of compliance activity to reduce risk
- How to break the overall requirements down into a series of smaller steps
- How best to get buy-in to the big picture objective of achieving PCI DSS compliance with the various departments that need to be involved
- How to ensure all stakeholders and departments understand each other’s requirements and work together towards a shared goal
- How we recommend you approach the upcoming evolution of PCI DSS, with the transition from v3.2.1 to v4.0
