Welcoming Laura Cowie to the Securious team

We’re delighted to welcome Laura Cowie as the newest member of the Securious team, joining us as an Cyber Client Account Manager.

Laura is based in Devon and brings with her a wealth of experience from her career in cyber security and law enforcement. Since 2017, she has served as a Cyber Protect Officer for Devon and Cornwall Police, following her work with the South West Counter Terrorism Unit. In these roles, Laura has been a strong advocate for raising awareness of the growing threat of cyber crime, helping organisations and communities across the South West understand risks and build resilience.

Her work has included running workshops, training sessions and presentations for businesses, charities and public sector organisations – all with the aim of making cyber security more accessible, practical and effective. She has also been part of the national ‘Team Cyber UK’ network, working closely with the National Cyber Security Centre to deliver the latest guidance to local organisations.

At Securious, Laura will be helping to look after our clients, ensuring they continue to receive the support, clarity and confidence they need to stay secure and compliant. She will also be representing Securious at local events and working with our growing client community across the region.

We’re excited to have Laura on board and know her insight, energy and first-hand experience in cyber crime prevention will be a real asset to both our clients and our team.
